How do you lot feel about glitter brows?

My gut reaction when I saw the NYX Eyebrow Button-Up Bra pencil ($10) was a big, fat OH, HELL YEA! I've probably worn glitter just about everywhere else, so I figure brows won't exist that much of a stretch.

The dual-tipped Eyebrow Button-Upwards Bra, called that because of how it's supposed to elevator brows, is one of v fall products from NYX to shape, define and highlight eyebrows. The side with the darker tip, the i for defining sparse areas, sports a sheer taupe with silver glitter; the other side's a creamy, dandy pink that appears to lift the brows when applied below the arch (likewise works as a brow highlighter).

The definer'due south silver sparkles aren't exactly what I'd call in-your-face glitter. They're barely noticeable, really, which could either be expert or bad, depending on your point of view. I was hoping for a petty more oomph!, but I judge without it the pencil's actually more wearable.

See how sharp the definer tip looks in the motion picture? Information technology also feels difficult against my peel, and because of how sheer the pigment is information technology takes several layers to adequately make full in my "ghost brows." In other words, if you're a fill-and-go girl, this may non be your ideal brow pencil. Yep, it's been a tad frustrating to use.

Ane advantage, however, of sheer pencils like this ane is control. Lighter layers hateful having more than command over how calorie-free/dark yous go, and if you're a newcomer to forehead filling and don't desire to wait like Morticia Adams, a sheer pencil similar this could be a skilful place to start.

I get the feeling from the taupe definer tip that NYX was trying to selection a universal shade, something that would work for most skin tones, mine not included. On me this particular taupe has a cool greyness tint, and one that I'grand afraid may pb strangers to refer to me every bit "ma'am" instead of "miss." BOO!

The highlighting tip is much creamier and pigmented than the definer, and it looks like a total ripoff of Do good'southward High Brow Lifting Pencil ($20), except in a warmer, darker shade.

NYX was kind plenty to include a few pictures with the instructions on the box (run into beneath). Following them, I get a subtle brow elevator, but every little bit helps.

If NYX sold the highlighting tip separately and charged $v instead of $10, I'd stock upwardly, because I think the colour is a closer match to my skin tone than High Forehead's shade, and I'd be able to get four of them for $20 instead of i. Plus, I think information technology has a slightly more pigment, yet it'southward even easier to blend.

If you're interested, brace yourself for some bad news, though. I had a tough fourth dimension tracking downwards the Eyebrow Push-Upwardly Bra. It sold out terminal calendar week on the NYX website, and co-ordinate to the visitor won't be bachelor again online until mid-Jan (yikes!).
